What projects is the team working on now?

We are working on the basis of professionalizing the role of the astrologer. Offer trainings on how to define and establish your professional practice. In another order of things, we are organizing experiential and face-to-face retreats of Planets and Myths. And we are publishing the series of training manuals for the astrology career (4 books)

Which branch of astrology, does this school deal with and which astrological areas does it cover?

We are oriented to psychological and humanistic astrology with predictive approach. We include specializations on Karmic Astrology, Draconic Chart and Child and Adolescent Charts (guidance for parents). We complement the student’s training with Tarot with astrological orientation, and Numerology from the Myth. Our focus is based on prognostic and predictive techniques (Progressions and Directions; Transits and Solar and Lunar returns; Proluna system, etc.).

What kind of astrology training can you provide?

We offer training in astrological consultation techniques (based on the ISAR and OPA programs). The last 2 years of the astrology career train the student in Consultation with live consultations and role-playings. Our school is based in the Person Centered Therapy of Carl Rogers.

Are there any mentors on staff and how they interact with students?

Yes. Each course -from 2nd. year on – has an academic assistant along with the main teacher, who assists students in the practical part, group dynamics and consultations. We now have 9 tutors for a total of 15 weekly courses.

Have you changed your curriculum and why? Have you noticed if there is any increase in some astrological areas?

Yes. Over the last few years I have been modifying the program for the last year of the astrology degree. It is increasingly oriented to astrological consultation, to train students in the interview. In addition, we include more mandatory specializations within the training. I find that every year the student of astrology is more oriented to a professional practice; it is an important job opportunity and people are committed to it with high compromise.

What type of learning methods does the school provide that separates them from other Astrology schools?

Since before the pandemic, ISAA has delivered classes interactively, virtually, and sustainably in great visual presentations. This makes all the students (face-to-face, from inside the country or abroad) feel that each one of them has a dynamic interaction with the teacher at all times; They also interact with their classmates and are facilitated by a tutor. Our distinctive mark is the continuous attention of the student, guiding him in his doubts, with tutors who facilitate the understanding of the content at all times. And we distinguish ourselves by being generous and abundant in the material that we offer for free. In these post-pandemic moments, we have face-to-face meetings every month, with educational games, astrological entertainment and socialization, which is highly appreciated by the students. So, we ended up with a mix of virtual/online and face-to-face teaching.

What is the quality of a school’s teaching staff? Whether you have lecturers or collaborate with other schools?

All of our teachers are CAPISAR certified, or in the process of becoming certified. They have vast experience, they have the condition to be professional astrologers who have a regular consultation and are passionate about astrology. We have a stable team of teachers for the entire training. Every year we invite specialized external professors who give complementary seminars.

Do you provide multilingual teaching classes?

No. We only carry classes in Spanish.

What type of students you have?

We are an inclusive school that receives students from the age of 17 with no age limit. We make no difference but instead encourage diversity and inclusion. More than 30% of our students are from abroad, from various Latin American countries and from Spain. And we offer facilities for students with hearing loss.

Do you reward the best students on some basis?

As our approach is humanistic and centered on the person, we do not distinguish especially the best students since we consider that this practice arouses competition instead of empathy and collaboration. Instead, we encourage teamwork, a network emphasis and research.

Is there interest in astrological research at the school level or among     students?

Yes, we encourage it among the teachers and the students. Also the actualization.

Schools are sometimes organizing conferences, symposiums etc. Is it the case with your School, too?

Yes. We have organized several Conferences and Congresses (2005, 2010, 2016, 2018). And we have issued the ISAR certification in Spanish from 2005 to 2020, with training and meetings. We are currently organizing an International Spanish-Speaking Congress with guests from abroad and translation into English, to be held in Ushuaia, Argentina in September 2023. We love organizing conferences with astrologers all over the world.

Have you, or anyone from your School, published some astrology book? If yes, tell us more about it.

I have published 3 astrology books: “Astrología Psicofísica” (2009); “Curso de Astrología – Volumen 3 – Técnicas de Predicción” (2013); “La Consulta Astrológica” (2015). Some of our teachers also have published several books (Astrology, Tarot, Numerology).

How about articles?

Yes, but not that many. We focus more on the written material of the school
